Prize Info
Marty Wilson is a bestselling author, Stand Up Comic and Professional Speaker who’s marriage was coming up to that year they call the “Seven-Year-Itch”. Being truly, madly, deeply (maybe even a little desperately) in love with his wife, Allie, he decided he’d start reading every book he could find on love to make sure this was the best year of their married life, not the worst.
But he found that books on love and relationships all had the same three enormous flaws:
1. They’re all just one person’s opinion - there was always either a male or female bias
2. Written by a so-called “expert”, they’re a bit too preachy and holier than thou
3. Most importantly for a bloke, they’re all at least three or four hundred pages long (some longer!). Now, Marty Wilson is a big girly man by objective standards, but no bloke wants to read 50,000 words on footy, let alone the mushy arts of lurve. Why has no one ever summarised this stuff? Where’s the cheat notes?
So he decided to write his own book that women could give their men and they could read together as a great conversation starter.
