Why did you choose a destination wedding at Aleenta Resort & Spa Phangnga?
We wanted a beach wedding and both love Thailand. Its people, food, landscape and location are perfect and easy for our families in Asia to travel to. We found Aleenta by chance online and loved its uniqueness in design and the location, with its long stretch of pristine and quiet beach which suited our wedding plans.

How did the venue assist with your planning?
The resort management has been most wonderful and accommodating in taking care of every single detail and following up requests during the planning. This included our dietary requirements, colour theme, venue set-up, flowers and table ribbons. They also arranged a live band and photographer as well as making contingency plans in case of rain, to name but a few. On the day, they organised a separate room for us to get ready, always being very attentive and took great care of our guests to ensure everything was perfect.

What was the highlight of your experience?
It had to be the buffet dinner reception on the beach. The table and marquee set-up was elegant and the food was exquisite and delicious, together with the lovely band, bon- fires, ocean background and the magical flying lanterns, we couldn’t have asked for more. It was a wonderful experience with memories that will last our lifetime.
