If it's on your bucket list to visit every single UNESCO World Heritage-listed site, you better get your skates on. Unesco's World Heritage List was recently released, with an impressive 21 new sites receiving the status upgrade. From historic cities to mountainous plateaus, caves featuring artworks from the Ice Age to Britain's beloved Lake District (above), 2017's list includes a vast range of breathtaking sights.
