    • Couples will love: The spectacular scenery of the Katherine gorges or the waterfalls, wetlands and wildlife of World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park.

Climate : It's so big it actually has two climates! Ranging from the tropical warmth of the Top End to the crisp desert air of Central Australia. Rainfall in the Top End is decidedly seasonal but has consistent year-round warm temperatures which have earned it the name "The land of two summers". In central Australia the average daytime temperature ranges from 25C to around 35C. But night-time temperatures can be as low as 0C in winter.

Romantic accommodation, honeymoons & holidays Northern Territory
Spectacular is an understatement when referring to Australia's Northern Territory, where mystery and magic abound.

The Northern Territory of Australia is a dramatically beautiful and deeply spiritual landscape. Dramatic rock formations, vast stretches of desert, rainforests, waterfalls and unusual wildlife are just some attractions awaiting visitors in the Northern Territory.

Whether you decide to visit NT in the Wet season (October - March) when Billabongs are full, water lilies are in full bloom and evening rain cools the air or in the Dry season (April - September) while the temperature is mild and sunsets spectacular, you're certain to have an adventure you'll never forget.

Kakadu National Park (Darwin and the Top End); Cruising the Katherine Gorge in the unforgettable Nitmiluk National Park (Katherine); Devils Marbles and the Honeymoon Ranges (Tennant Creek) and Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Alice Springs (Central Australia) are all included on the 'must see' list.

With lodges, resorts, hotels, homesteads and remote cattle stations, and safari tents / camps - ranging from luxury, boutique or back to basic - there is a style of accommodation to suit everyone in the Northern Territory. Where ever you choose to stay, you're assured that romantic honeymoons, holidays or getaways for two in the 'top end' will leave you with a life time of unique and wonderful memories.
