Couples will love: At Lake Shikaribetsu, in Daisetsuzan National Park, you can go kayaking, canoeing, and fishing in summer. In winter the lake freezes to become an icy wonderland where the locals build a village of ice-lodges you can stay in.
Climate : 4 distinct seasons. Spring is the best time to visit to see the Cherry Blossoms. Try to avoid the hot and humid summers. Rainy season is from June to July and Typhoon season from August to October.
