Wanaka Stonehouse Boutique Lodge is a private oasis, just a few minutes walk to the lakeshore and three minutes in the car to the shops and restaurants of the Wanaka town centre. Built of local stone and timbers, the Stonehouse has the ambience of an alpine fishing or skiing lodge. Highlights include the spacious lounge with fireplace, the sheltered garden, and the glass conservatory with spa pool and sauna. Four unique guest rooms are comfortably furnished; ensuites have boutique bath products and robes. Breakfast includes homemade goodies and fresh local ingredients, with individual needs catered for.
There are plenty of additional conveniences like free wifi, a guest computer, secure gear and ski storage, a fridge full of complimentary beverages, and a pair of bicycles for you to explore Wanaka’s excellent paths. The hosts have their own accommodation on the property, so guests have private use of the lodge and facilities. Both hosts are keen trampers and active in local activities; they are happy to offer advice and share their experiences of the area. They can book any activities you require, including guided fishing, private wine tours, or in-room massage.
