ERATAP Beach Resort is a small, exclusive luxury resort hidden among the coastal forests of Eratap, on Efate Island, Vanuatu.
As Vanuatu’s newest resort, Eratap resort marks a new era in Vanuatu tourism. Providing luxury accommodation in a beautiful natural setting, the resort satisfies those who are seeking adventure or complete relaxation. It is rare to find a slice of paradise so untouched yet so close to a major town. The community of Eratap still exist on a largely subsistence level and the natural environment has been protected from the pressures of population growth. Our aim is to provide guests with a unique holiday experience that has a limited impact on the natural environment and a positive impact on the surrounding community.
Eratap beach resort has 12 private waterfront villas only. They are all absolute water front and lie around the peninsula each having their own unique and uninterrupted view of the ocean. A stunning beachfront restaurant, large private pool and bar area, Day Spa, jetty, boats and kayaks, provide all the facilities needed to never leave.
Our Villas have been built using a combination of local and imported materials to create a truly Melanesian feel with a luxurious finish. They are extremely spacious with separate pavilions for bedrooms and lounge areas. Bedrooms are air conditioned and fan cooled with ensuite bathrooms and private outdoor shower courtyards. Large private decks under bush timber pergolas just metres from the beach provide the ideal outside lounge space. All villas have a DVD/CD stereo system and ipod docks are available at reception.
Enjoy a picnic on any of the uninhabited islands just offshore, kayak the surrounding waters or take a hike through the forest to the village nearby. Do as much or as little as you please.
