More on Apricot Pension House
The Apricot Pension (Japanese Bed & Breakfast)
For more than 70 years Hakuba has alpine enthusiasts the optimal conditions needed to enjoy their winter holidays. Hakuba is recognized as one of Japan’s largest and most respected resorts. It has already hosted the 1998 Winter Olympic Games and continually hosts FIS world cup ski races. The winter months offer an incredible alpine variety for snowboarding, snowshoe tours, hiking, and for the endurance athlete, cross-country skiing. The complete novice to the expert skier can enjoy all that Hakuba has to offer.
The Apricot Pension (Japanese Bed & Breakfast) in Hakuba, Japan offers first-class accommodations. Each room has a private “western-style” bathroom. The facility is conveniently located within 10-15 minutes of five different ski slopes and is within walking distance to restaurants and shopping & nightlife spots. Non-skiers can also relax in natural hot springs or simply retreat to the Apricot Pensions’ lounge for relaxing cocktails. The facility is managed by Matsu and his wife Mami. Both speak English and are former ski instructors who can provide information on the best ski spots and provide other assistance.
