Fafa Island Resort, an 18 acres palm covered atoll is located only 30 minutes by motor sailor from the capital of the Kingdom of Tonga
Guarded by a coral reef ensuring all time safe swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear blue waters, Fafa’s deserted sand beaches invite you to relax and lie in the sun.
The accommodation is like a Polynesian village surrounded by lush gardens. Only 13 traditional Tongan style bungalows all within a few steps of the beach, built with natural materials. You will enjoy unobstructed views of the ocean but with maximum privacy as they are set far apart from each other.
All bungalows have a courtyard with semi open bathroom and the shower in a private flower garden. A covered veranda, spacious bedrooms with king size beds, dressing room, ceiling fan, hammock and beach beds.
Dine under the stars in the open air restaurant on the beach or indoors in the traditional thatched Fale. Fafa’s cuisine is famous for it’s unique contemporary pacific european gourmet dishes and the open air cocktail bar offers of course a wide range of tropical cocktails and wines.
There is free use of paddle boats, snorkeling equipment, french boule and volleyball. The Resort also offers daily snorkel trips to unspoiled reefs and Islands, diving and game fishing but to protect the coral lagoon, no motorized water sports are allowed.
