Misty Mountains Nature Retreat offers each couple the experience of staying in the Blue Lagoon Villa, which is surrounded by a 40 square metre lagoon pool, immersed in magical tropical gardens. While across from the pool is the stunning new Glass Club which features your own private state of the art bar, lounge, pool table and dancing pole, 180cm LCD TV Screen with cable, with surround sound and spectacular lighting programme where you can dance the night away. Just a short walk through the rainforest you will then discover the private Think Tank located right on the stream in the rainforest for meditation, massage or even an afternoon beverage as there is a mini fridge to help yourself. There are also covered picnic areas and nature walks to explore nature and it's real beauty.

For the little more glamorous, there is a private Helipad available where you can arrange a flight to the Great Barrier Reef for a champagne breakfast and snorkel or even a transfer to or from Cairns. If you don't want to walk there is an environmentally friendly electric club car for you to explore the 200acre retreat. Misty Mountains Nature Retreat is located only 45 minutes south of Cairns, and only 15 minutes from the historic and charming town of Babinda. In the heart of the famous Misty Mountains Trail and all of the major tourist attractions including the Great Barrier Reef, magnificent waterfall trails, food and wine trails, The Tablelands, Hot Air Ballooning, White Water Rafting, Fishing, Bird watching and more. Most couples find it hard to leave the retreat after a week of privacy and come back for more with the intention of exploring the attractions next time.

The Blue Lagoon Villa features a large plasma tv, cable, dvd player with library, cd player and library, A/C. Fans, screens, gas cook top and oven, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, juicer, blender, dishwasher , webber Q, spa, Queen size bed, swinging love chair, outdoor dining on the large 180 degree deck. Quality linen used throughout. The complete Pleasure Package -includes a chilled bottle of French Champagne on arrival, fresh tropical flowers grown on the retreat, a massage for two, fresh local fruits in season, chocolates, accommodation in the Blue Lagoon Villa, and 100% privacy with use of the Glass Bar, Think Tank by appointment and the Club Car. With the choice of a complimentary bottle of white or red wine, or a 6 pack of beer each day. All of this for only $880 per couple per day.
