Eurostar is moving!

From the 14th of November Eurostar will use St Pancras International as its new London Base. Travelling at speeds of 300km/h on the UK’s first high speed train line will bring London and Paris closer together than ever before. St Pancras is closer to central London than Waterloo and directly connects to 6 Underground lines throughout London. There are also 6 brand-new Eurostar platforms opening.

St Pancras International is more than a train station it is a place to meet, eat and shop with Europes longest champagne bar, fantastic arcade shopping and a restaurant serving world class cuisine, it may be hard to even leave the station. Plus Eurostar is also opening a brand new station in Kent. Ebbsfleet International will improve accessibility to eastern London with a journey time of just 2hr 5 minutes from Paris.

The new journey time from London – Paris is just 2h 15mins and London-Brussels currently 2h20 with a new time of only 1h51!

Check-in for the Eurostar is only 30 minutes prior to departure versus the 2 hour check-in for international flights. Forget waiting at airport luggage carousels. You take your bags on board with you. No airport taxes or transportation costs in getting to/from the airports because the train departs and arrives in the heart of each city. Eurostar is the quickest and easiest way to travel between London and the city centre of Paris or Brussels.

The key to rail travel is the speed, efficiency and the stress free environment. It's 600 km's or a 7 hour drive from Paris to Bordeaux. It takes 3 and a half hours by train/TGV. The beauty is you haven't had to worry about traffic congestion leaving Paris or reading a street directory.
