If your dream of romance is a private lagoon bungalow on a tranquil lagoon complete with a full circular spa bath, private sundeck, and king bed, then the 5 star Overwater Villas (or fales as they are known locally) will make your dreams a reality. Set on their own private island apart from the main resort, with a 140m suspension bridge linking the island to the main resort, these traditionally thatched roofed fales enjoy their own outlook of Erakor lagoon and offer a privacy and luxury unrivalled in Vanuatu. There are also garden and lagoon view rooms available in the main resort.
Another breathtaking feature of the hotel is the stunning Melanesian-style lobby, with its huge vaulted ceiling. The lobby not only forms the perfect welcome for guests as they arrive at the resort, but also includes a relaxed bar area.

Le Meridien Port Vila Resort & Casino is proud to announce the opening of Vanuatu’s latest addition to the world of total body care – the Namele Day Spa. Located within the resort, the new spa has views out over the landscaped gardens or take a treatment in exotic resort locations near the tranquil waters of Erakor Lagoon. The spa takes its name from the Namele leaf – a traditional symbol for peace in Vanuatu’s culture. The leaf itself is known for its calming, soothing properties.
The Namele Day Spa is a haven for self indulgence, created to soothe, calm and restore harmony. A unique feature is the combination of traditional ni-Vanuatu healing remedies with classic French spa therapies. Not only do guests have their senses pampered, they also enjoy a unique cross cultural experience.
A team of highly trained therapists work with Spa Manager, Alexis Murphy who has extensive experience both within Australia and internationally in Spa treatments. One of her more popular inclusions in the spa menu is the Hot Rocks Massage, which utilizes smooth, heated local volcanic rocks in the massage to produce a balance of well being and energy.
The spa menu is extensive, with a range of massages, body treatments and facials available along with pedicures, manicures, waxing, hair braiding and even a special spa treatment menu for little ladies – under 12 years old.
A complementary and increasingly popular option is choosing from the Namele Day Spa’s menu but having the treatment done in one of our two purpose built massage huts on the beach. This option makes the most of the location, with the balmy tropical breeze, the view over the lagoon and the best in Vanuatu spa treatment combining to ensure a memorable experience.
