It now appears that Australians have discovered the multi-award winning Reefsleep (something that overseas guests have known for ages) ... the ultimate unique sleepover, whereby guests can stay overnight at Reefworld, the largest Australian owned offshore facility situated at Hardy Reef on the Great Barrier Reef.

Extremely popular with honeymooners, second honeymooners, birthday & anniversary celebrations, or just couples who want to add a unique experience to their Whitsunday holiday, the Reefsleep package offers the chance to explore the reef without the crowds & savour the peace and tranquillity of Reefworld at night. Watching the sun set from the top deck is truly breathtaking and Reefworld is the perfect place to star gaze.

With exclusive time to explore the reef once the day-trippers have departed, guests come face to face with schools of colourful reef fish and are amazed at the coral formations as they dive and snorkel along the reef edge. If diving is not their speciality, then guests can witness the spectacular transformation as the marine life comes alive after sunset from the comfort of the underwater viewing chamber.

Guests are pampered for the night as drinks are served at dusk and dinner alfresco style under the stars by their own personal deck steward and breakfast is enjoyed on the reef at a time of their choice the following morning. Guest numbers are limited to six with two types of accommodation available...one cabin is fitted out with two double-decker bunks and the other has a king size bed.
