Set in the scenic Southern Highlands on more than 700 acres of preserved farmland, this property offers the choice of five self-contained, romantic cottages in which to relax, unwind, and simply spend time enjoying one another’s company.

During the day, you might like to take a wander around the adjoining paddocks. Breathe in that fresh country air and enjoy the beautifully rugged Australian bushland setting that surrounds you. Although, if you still feel the need for a little more stimulation of the urban kind, the cafés, restaurants, and antique shops of Moss Vale, Bowral and Berrima are only a few scenic kilometres away.

By night, snuggle up together and enjoy the spectacular sky full of stars above you – a view you can only ever truly appreciate in a place as secluded as The Pines. Each of the five cottages has a varied layout, but all are tastefully decorated and come equipped with the modern necessities to make your stay enjoyable.

Everything you need for a short romantic visit or a long relaxing stay is provided, including fridge, oven, cutlery, crockery, washer, dryer, ironing board, hairdryer, TV, VCR and CD player. Combustion heaters are included in every cottage to keep things nice and cosy in the cooler months. And as an added treat, four of the cottages come equipped with a Scandinavian dry sauna in which to retreat. Described as "magnificent" by The Great Outdoors (June 2004).

The Pines Pastoral may be on the doorstep of Sydney, but it offers the feeling of romance, space and quietness of a truly Australian farm. When cattle are not grazing, the farm's airstrip is available. Scenic flights can be arranged (P.O.A.)
