Being lovers of sun and sand, and knowing that post-wedding day we would be well in need of a break, all we wanted for our honeymoon was a place where we could lay around a sun-drenched pool drinking cocktails and doing as little as possible, but also having options if we wanted to leave the swim up bar! So we'd heard how lovely Fiji is and how welcoming the Fijians are and also how affordable it was - our decision was made!

Why did you choose this destination?
We wanted to "get away" and actually get on a plane and go somewhere ... but didn't want to spend hours traveling, we didn't want to spend a fortune, but definitely wanted sun, sand and surf.

Why did you choose this accommodation?
I must admit, a swim-up bar was not negotiable! That and a choice of pools and a choice of a few restaurants and bars - a resort was a perfect choice as it had all of that.

What was your 'Honeymoon Highlight'?
Probably cracking two bottles of french champagne that we bought duty free on the beach at sunset. That and being sung to by the local Fijian band over an amazing seafood platter at their "island" restaurant.

Would you recommend this destination to other couples?
Yes
Why?
Just the perfect getaway to unwind and relax. You can choose to do nothing, or take a few day trips and see the sights - and the locals are just lovely.

Why?
Absolutely! The people and the facilities are just perfect ... the choice of restaurants is sensational and the resort is right on a shallow bay that is perfect for snorkeling.

Other Comments:

We will definitely go back to Fiji - and especially the Warwick Hotel.
